Outcomes Monitoring Project

With more than 650 participants, ASCA's Outcomes Monitoring Project produces data that can be a valuable asset to the management of any ASC. Providing benchmarks for 41 key indicators, the Outcomes Monitoring Project allows ASCs to compare their specific data with national performance statistics on clinical outcomes, staff indicators, billing performance and much more.

Due to technical difficulties, Outcomes Monitoring Project 4th Quarter Reports will be delayed. We are doing all we can to resolve this situation and will send you an email notice when these reports become available. Thank you for your understanding.

Why should I participate?

Participating in ASCA's Outcomes Monitoring Project gives you the opportunity to ensure that your ASC is running as smoothly and efficiently as possible and providing topnotch patient care. In addition, ASCA uses the national results to show elected officials, the media and critics of the ASC industry how the safe, efficient, quality care that ASCs provide is crucial to meeting America's surgical needs.

All ASCA members can participate in the project for free, but to get the results, your ASC must participate. Participants in each quarter receive the national results and individual summaries. Results include data for 41 key indicators and data broken down by specialty including GI, Orthopedics and Ophthalmology.

How does ASCA’s Outcomes Monitoring Project work?

All ASCA facility members receive the Outcomes Monitoring Project forms by fax four times a year. To participate, all your ASC has to do is fill out the survey and fax it back to 866.303.1131 by the date printed on the form.

Each quarter that your ASC completes a Response Form, your ASC will receive an individual summary of your results as well as a booklet filled with national performance data in these same areas. This information allows you not only to track your performance over time, but also to compare your ASC's performance to performance standards being met at more than 650 ASCs across the country.
