Designed for those with ASC experience, this course will review key topics in the five content areas of the CASC exam: regulatory and legal issues, finance, delivery of patient care, quality management and human resources. Learn how to use ASCA’s benchmarking tools to make lasting improvements at your ASC. Industry experts will discuss how your ASC can use ASCA’s Outcomes Monitoring Project (OMP) and Financial Benchmarking Survey to meet accreditation and regulatory requirements, improve the quality of care you provide, increase efficiency at your ASC, increase profits and more. Find out how to use the clinical, operational and financial data the two survey reports provide, how to conduct quality improvement and assessment studies in your facility, how to share data with your staff and how to present your reports to your Board. Join us for a VIP tour of the Dallas Cowboy football team’s new retractable-roof stadium in Arlington, Texas. This imposing structure seats about 80,000 people and can be expanded to accommodate 20,000 more. Tour a private suite, the press boxes, the Dr. Pepper Star Bar and the Ford Motor Company Fountain. Then, head out onto the field where you’ll be able to take photos of yourself standing on the iconic Cowboys’ star. From the field, head to the Miller Lite Club, the post-game interview room and the team and the cheerleaders’ locker rooms. End your tour at the stadium’s pro shop. Taste of the Grape Tour: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Grapevine, Texas, is home to seven wineries with tasting rooms and on its way to becoming a nationally recognized wine region. Begin your Taste of the Grape tour and wine tasting at Delaney Vineyards, which features 10 acres of Cynthiana grapes—the best southern-bred hybrid vine to grow in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. Stop next at La Buena Vida Vineyards, which features a tranquil atmosphere, Spanish-tiled fountains, lush landscaping and advice from experienced “wineologists.” Then it’s on to D’Vine Wine, a boutique winery where you can sample many different custom wines, ranging from bold reds and crisp whites to fruit and dessert selections. After the tours and tastings, guests can dine and shop at dozens of quaint shops and boutiques along Grapevine’s historic Main Street. A bus will return you to the Gaylord or you can stay for the rest of the evening and return on the hotel’s free shuttle, which runs once an hour until 9:36 p.m.
