Are any of you doing vascular stenting in your ASC. I have an interested vascular surgeon who assures me these are being performed in other ASC's but hasn't provided any reference information. We're talking stenting aorta's and revascularization of lower extremities. Some of the codes I'm looking at are approved by Medicare in an ASC but I'm looking for someone who has a history of pt. outcomes. My anesthesia dept. is leary of accepting these cases due to possible complications.
