This document outlines the requirements for ambulatory surgical centers (ASCs), paid by Medicare under Part B Fee-for-Service, to receive their full Medicare annual payment update (APU) under the Ambulatory Surgical Center Quality Reporting (ASCQR) Program. ASCs that do not meet ASCQR Program requirements, including allowing the data collected to be publicly available, may receive a reduction of 2.0 percentage points in their APU for the applicable calendar year (CY). ASCs will have the opportunity to review their data prior to publication per statutory requirements.
