SAMBA has partnered with ASCA to host the ASCA + SAMBA Conference & Expo, taking place May 13–16, 2026, at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Washington, DC. This joint meeting brings SAMBA members and ASC leaders together for practical sessions on outpatient anesthesia.

SAMBA Members and Affiliates

To make registration simple, ASCA created separate ASCA accounts for all SAMBA members. These accounts are not connected to your SAMBA website credentials. Do not try to log in with your SAMBA website username or password.

To log in to your ASCA account, use the primary email listed in your SAMBA member profile.

If you are already an ASCA member, use your existing ASCA login.

How to access your new ASCA account:

  1. Select “Register Now.”
  2. Choose “Forgot your password?”
  3. Follow the prompts to reset your password and log in.

Conference Policies

Registration for the ASCA + SAMBA Conference & Expo is open to individuals who work in, represent, or support ASCs or ambulatory anesthesia practices. This includes ASCA and SAMBA members, nonmember facility staff, and others attending on behalf of an eligible organization.

If you’re unsure whether you qualify to attend, contact registration@ascassociation.org before completing your registration.

Ineligible Registrations

ASCA and SAMBA reserve the right to refuse or cancel any registration that does not meet eligibility requirements. Neither organization will be responsible for any outside costs or fees associated with such cancellations.

ASCA and SAMBA members receive the lowest available registration rates for the ASCA + SAMBA Conference & Expo.

If you are not currently a member of ASCA or SAMBA and would like to take advantage of the reduced member rates, you can join online or contact:

Family/guest registration is limited to family members or personal guests of full conference registrants. This registration category is not available to anyone involved in the healthcare field. Employees of ASCs, ambulatory anesthesia practices, prospective member facilities, affiliate or prospective affiliate companies, or any other organizations connected to healthcare are not eligible for this category.

Family members and guests may not attend educational sessions and are not eligible to receive continuing education credits.

The family/guest registration fee includes access to:

  • The expo hall, including the Wednesday and Thursday evening receptions
  • Wellness events
  • Continental breakfasts
  • Thursday lunch
  • The Friday Celebration Luncheon and evening social event

ASCA and SAMBA reserve the right to review all family/guest registrations for eligibility. Registrants who do not meet these criteria will be required to register at the appropriate rate or will receive a refund.

If you are unable to attend, another individual from your facility or organization may attend in your place. A $55 substitution fee applies to all substitutions.

All substitution requests must be submitted in writing and emailed to registration@ascassociation.org.

All cancellation requests must be submitted via the online registration cancellation form. Through March 20, 2026, refunds will be issued minus a $125 fee. If you registered as part of a group and the entire group must cancel, one cancellation request per individual is required.

If the in-person event should be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, registrations can be transferred to a future conference or refunded by request only. Otherwise, registrations will be automatically transferred to the rescheduled virtual conference, if applicable.
